About Us

For many people, Brinkleys has been a memorable stay of convenience over the years. In 1963 a gentleman by the name of Allan Brinkley built a petrol station and a motel known as ‘Brinkleys Motel’.

Fast forward to November 2022, local business man and business woman, purchased the premises in the hope to bring back the nostalgia of this once loved and popular business in Klein Brakrivier. In accolade to the roots of the property the name has changed to ‘Brinkleys River Village’. Over the last few months they have been working tirelessly to renovate the property.

The tranquil and charming newly renovated Brinkleys Hotel is open for bookings. The freshly decorated rooms look out onto views of the gardens and the pristine river often visited by birdlife such as flamingos, and Black-winged stilts. A bird watchers paradise!

Home to the oldest pub in Mossel Bay and the doors are still open! The original pub at Brinkleys was first built in 1963 when the premises was still known as “Brinkleys Motel” and continues to serve drinks today. The Pub has opened a quaint restaurant that serves delicious pub meals to guests and visitors.

Brinkleys Liquor and Wine Boutique boasts a large selection of wine and other favourite liquors.
Brinkleys also offers a large space for functions, events and conferences. Perfect for that riverside celebration!

Brinkleys also has a variety of local entrepreneurs occupying shops that the public visits on a daily basis and hope to offer many more exciting things for the Klein Brakrivier area and surrounds in the near future!
